There seems to be trouble in the paradise of Space FM at the moment as 6 Top class On-air personalities of the station, officially resigned their appointment with the station on Friday 23rd April, 2021.
Primus Media City gathered that, Adebayo Tiamiyu, Tunde Onadeko, Tunde Sofowora, Ishola Abasila, Moses Adegbemi and Adeshina Okikiola all tendered their resignation letters on Friday after a spell of diligent service at the radio station.
According to a reliable source, the scary resignation of these On-air-personalities might be as a result of inconsistencies, lack of trust and insecurity from the authorities of the radio station, which is believed to be negatively affecting the growth of the media organization and its members of staff.
It will be recalled that the 7 years old radio station, nicknamed The People’s Secretariat, has been consistently involved in series of leadership crisis from time to time. This unfortunate occurrences have made the station lose all its pioneer staff, as well as many other enviable talents it once paraded.
Space 90.1 FM with the motto, “setting new standard in broadcasting” is a private owned radio station in Ibadan and the 1st trilingual radio station in Nigeria. According to their philosophy, “Space FM 90.1 serves the needs of the people in and outside Nigeria for news, current affairs and music everyday.”
