Prominent Broadcaster Dele Adeyanju Appointed GM of Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos



Dele Adeyanju, the renowned broadcaster popularly known as Agbaman of AgbaletunTV, has been confirmed as the new General Manager of Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos.
 
The appointment takes effect from May 1, 2024, according to a statement by the Chief Operating Officer of the station, Tunde Bamgboye.
 
Adeyanju, a seasoned broadcast journalist, Yoruba music historian, and researcher, has been serving as the Group Head of Operations for Adamimogo FM, overseeing the creative content for the radio franchise’s stations in Lagos, Ibadan, and Ekiti. He also held the position of Acting General Manager for the Lagos station since December 2023.
 
With a career spanning over two decades, Adeyanju’s radio journey began at Gold 95.5fm in Ilesa in 2001. He has since gained extensive experience working for various reputable media organizations, including the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC New Dawn Television, Radio Nigeria Gold FM, Murhi International Lagos (owners of MITV and Star FM), 32FM, Lagelu FM, and Petals FM in Ibadan.
 
Adeyanju’s expertise extends beyond broadcasting, as he has served in administrative capacities as the Head of Programs and subsequently the General Manager of Lead City University FM in Ibadan. He has also held the position of Head of Timsed Broadcasting Service, overseeing TITV and Timsed 94.9fm.
 
Known for his passion for preserving Nigerian music genres, Adeyanju is a proud curator of the history of Fuji and Juju music, hosting the popular “Agbaletu TV” on YouTube. He has released seven music albums, further showcasing his versatility in the entertainment industry.
 
Adeyanju is happily married with children and is expected to strengthen the growth of Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lagos and the rest of South West, Nigeria.
