Popular and highly respected media practitioner based in the city of Ibadan, Edmund Obilo recently shared some surprising pictures on his social media pages. In the pictures he was seen in the company of an unknown lady casually strolling barefooted on the streets.
In his caption of the pictures shared on his official Facebook page, Obilo identified his partner as Modupe Oyetoso. He went further to briefly hint us that the walk that seemed casual is actually a creative protest he staged in solidarity with an actual victim, against the increasing spate of kidnapping in Lanlate and Oyo State in General.
According to him, Modupe Oyetoso, was kidnapped on the 10th of July, 2020 while returning from her farm by unknown gun men.
It will be recalled that just yesterday, Oyo State Police Command paraded 2 suspects, Abubakar Mohammed, 30, and Ayankunle Ayaleye, 37 for this same kidnapping case, which occurred at Odo-Edu Igbodudu Road, Lanlate, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State. According to the PPRO, the lady, Modupeoluwa Oyetoso and her fiancé, Opeoluwa Oladipo, were in a Toyota Highlander SUV on that fateful day, when they were shot at. While her fiancé died, she was kidnapped.
