Popular Ibadan based Sports Presenter on Fresh FM Nigeria, Kenny Ogunmiloro has been appointed as Communication Officer for the National Netball Federation in Oyo State.
This appointment was confirmed through a letter dated October 6, 2023, titled “Appointment as a Communication Officer,” signed by Ambassador Rahmat Romoke Ayinde J.P, who serves as the Chairperson of the Federation in Oyo State and also holds the position of Grand Matron of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Oyo State Chapter).
The letter states, “I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected as the Communication Officer for the National Netball Federation, Oyo State, under my leadership.”
Ogunmiloro’s appointment is a result of his exceptional reporting on Netball, his dedication, and his tireless efforts to elevate the sport in Oyo State and Nigeria.
With this role, he is authorized to lead the communication efforts related to Netball within the state and promote the Sport across every corner of Oyo State.
His responsibilities include overseeing Netball coverage in Oyo State and establishing partnerships between the National Netball Federation, Oyo State, and the National Netball Federation, with the shared goal of advancing the sport in Oyo State and throughout Nigeria.
In the coming days, on October 18, 2023, Netball will be officially introduced in Oyo State at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Basketball Indoor Sports Hall. The event will also feature a demonstration match involving two female teams at the Volleyball court of the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
