Adamimogo Communications Ltd, the operators behind Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lekki, Lagos, have officially announced their upcoming venture in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The visionary behind this expansion, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, a prominent cleric and the station’s founder, shared this exciting development during a confidential meeting with Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido. In this meeting, Prophet Olu-Alo assured the Olojudo that a third radio station would soon grace Ido-Ekiti.
Providing insight into the forthcoming Ibadan station, Prophet Olu-Alo expressed his gratitude for the support received thus far. He confirmed the acquisition of a license to operate at 105.1FM in Ibadan.
“As soon as we complete the setup in Ibadan, I have my sights set on establishing a station in Ido, my hometown,” he added. “Our goal is to bridge gaps in the broadcasting realm and fulfill our commitment to providing information, entertainment, and education to the people.”
The station is currently putting the finishing touches in place for the commencement of on-air operations in Ibadan. Moreover, they anticipate launching online broadcasts and introducing new team members later this month.
Adamimogo Communications Ltd is already a recognized force, especially among its core Yoruba-speaking audience, with its flagship Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lekki, Lagos, which commenced commercial operations in January 2023.
