Family and Management of DAAR Communications have been advised to sustain legacies left behind by late media mogul, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi.
Chairman, Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, BON, Zone C, Southwest, Deacon Owolabi Oladejo gave the advice when he led a delegation on a condolence visit to DAAR Communications, Broadcasting Village, Àlagbàdo, Lagos State.
Deacon Oladejo who enumerated the contributions of late Chief Dokpesi to the media industry in Africa and Nigeria in particular, said he would be remembered for his impact to the progress and stability of BON.
Responding, Head, Network Operations, DAAR Communications,Mrs. Ibiyemi Olufowobi, who appreciated the body for the visit described the departed Chairman as a noble man of high vision.
Mrs Olufowobi explained that modalities have been put in place to preserve and build on the landmark achievements of Late High Chief Dokpesi.
She said further that BON would be fully involved in the burial activities in Lagos and Aghenebode in Edo State.
Members of the delegation were Secretary BON Zone C, Southwest, who is also General Manager, Ogun Radio,Mrs. Oluwatoyin Sogbesan and Assistant Secretary, who is Pensioners’ FM Ibadan, General Manager,Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.
