The Management of West Midlands Communications Limited, owners of Splash 105.5 FM and Lagelu 96.7 FM, has expressed her shock, disbelief and sadness at the passing of a consummate broadcast journalist, media entrepreneur and gender advocate, Oluwatoyin Adepoju, popularly known as Teetoo.
In a statement released on behalf of the management by Tunde Olawuwo, General Manager Operations, the late Miss Adepoju was a thorough-bred passionate and loyal professional who contributed immensely to the growth of Splash 105.5 FM where she was a foundational staff member and head of programmes between 2009 and 2020.
While commiserating with the Adepoju family, colleagues and fans, they said the late broadcaster has left an indelible mark in the media industry that will never be erased.
Toyin Adepoju succumbed to death on Monday, 30th August 2021 after a brief illness at the age of 42.
She will be laid to a final rest on Friday, 4th September 2021
