Fast rising Nollywood Actor, Akinola Akano popularly known as Segbowe by his fans in the popular comedy series, Awon Aladun de, has added his voice to the ongoing clamour and agitation for the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The young actor shared the experience of how he was stopped and questioned because he was driving a Camry and “too fresh”. He explained how he introduced himself showed them all the necessary documents of his car, but was yet led to the police station and asked embarrassing question despite all his explanations. They questioned him on the choice of his car and his acclaimed source of income, they questioned him based on the texture of his skin among other annoyingly embarrassing questions.
However he was later released without paying a dime and allowed to go because some officers at the station could recognize him eventually. He said ever since then, he has been driving a much smaller car because he is scared.
