On Saturday, June 26, media practitioners, enthusiasts, and high esteemed media observers in the big city of Ibadan gathered to fellowship again as Primus Media City rocks another mind blowing Primus Media Nite, June Edition in another refreshed dimension.
The June edition, held at Racecourse, Amphitheater, Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan did not only allowed media practitioners, enthusiasts and observers to network and catch fun by meeting people in the media industry but also aimed at tackling some challenges in the space.
The Media Nite engaged 4 Head of programmes; Seun Akinola from Splash FM, Olutayo Ogunade from 32fm, Kolawole Falodun from R2 FM, Olusegun Fawole from Inspiration FM as panelists on the topic, “The Fate and Plight of English Language Presenters in Ibadan City” while the event was moderated by Adedoyinsola Adetomide of Fresh FM and anchored by Ojobaro Babatunde, Mister Rain.
Primus Media City at the media nite, honored some exceptional practitioners as a result of their effortless contribution as well as their services to the industry. Comr. Ademola Babalola (Dembab), NUJ Chairman, Oyo State chapter, was honored in the Icon category; Olanrewaju Adewusi, (Opele-Oro) of 32 FM and Olasunbo Yusuf (Aunty Sunbo) of Inspiration FM in the Shining star category.
