RE: PRIMUS MEDIA AWARDS, MEET OUR 50 MAN JURY
Sequel to our previous press release, where we informed the general public that all the functional radio stations in the city of Ibadan have received their nomination forms. We are super excited by their warm welcome, prompt and positive response, which keeps our hope alive on the Project and the industry at large.
Subsequently, in our bid to ensure credibility, transparency and all round fairness, we are glad to announce that we have enlisted the support of renowned media experts and media academia in the city to make up our carefully selected 50-man Jury for all the award categories except for those categories that would be determined through the highly esteemed listeners.
We have 30 official seats on the jury. They are the General Managers or its equivalent in all of the 27 functional radio stations in Ibadan. Others are Head of Communication and Language Arts Department, University of Ibadan; Head of Mass Communication Department, Lead City University and the Head of Mass Communication Department, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. In the coming days, Nominees for each category will be announced, and voting process will also commence. Please note that Primus Media Awards is widely open for sponsorships and partnerships as we keep fulfilling our mandate of expanding the frontiers of the media.
