Popular media brand Megalectrics, the operator of Beat 97.9 FM and Naija 102.7 FM in Ibadan, Nigeria, has reportedly shut down operations in the city.
According to report, the station has also laid off its staff members without compensation.
Megalectrics has been in operation in Ibadan for eight years, and in their capacity, has built a following among listeners.
The reasons for Megalectrics’ closure are unclear to the news men as we await official release from the media company.
