Akwa-IBOM born On Air Personality (OAP), Michael Effiong, better known as Egbeba, is one man who fashioned his life after the rule of time and season. Having gone through the necessary phases of life to guarantee a decent and purposeful living, Egbeba has been lucky to have things panning out for him gracefully.
Although a graduate of Industrial Physics, he’s fast becoming a household name through his craft as a presenter, especially in Delta State, where he works with the Pidgin English oriented radio station, Kpoko FM, Warri, Delta State.
Having set his career on the path of growth, Micheal deemed it necessary to fulfill the next level of the rule of time and season. So, on October 15, 2022, the OAP was officially pronounced man and wife with his heartthrob, Tega Ogboru.
Michael and his beautiful wife, Tega, a fashion designer and Mathematics graduate of Delta State University, Abraka, observed the solemnisation of the holy matrimony at the Christ Liberation Ministry, while the reception followed at Tobiz Event Center, Warri, with celebrities and colleagues of the couple in attendance.
Anchor of popular radio show, Sojithings, on Kpoko FM, Michael, who started his broadcast journey some six years ago, is also a notable event host and music analyst who has a knack for raising budding artistes. The interest of the Enugu State University graduate has earned him role of a judge at talent hunt event, just as he’s been recognised for his passion. Among such recognition is winning award of Best On Air Personality at Warri Entertainment Award (WERA) and nomination for EDO/DELTA Icons &Stars Award (EDISA).
