Pensioners’ 106.7 FM Shines Bright with Three Awards at 2023 World Microphone Day Celebration

It was a day of celebration and recognition as Pensioners’ 106.7FM Ibadan, emerged as one of the winners at the 2023 World Microphone Day, organized by the All Tangible Media Entertainment Network (ATMEN). The station received three prestigious awards, cementing its status as one of broadcasting institutions in Oyo state.

Pensioners’ 106.7FM was honored with the title of the “Best Development Support Radio Station” in the Southwest region. This recognition underscores the station’s dedication to being a catalyst for positive change and development in the community.

The General Manager of Pensioners’ FM, Alhaji Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu, was recognized as the “2023 Most Valuable Mentor & Evergreen Ace Broadcaster.” This award celebrated his exceptional contributions to the world of broadcasting and his role as a guiding light for aspiring broadcasters.

Also, Titilope Giwa, known as “Erelu Sports” on Pensioners’ 106.7FM, received the “2023 Best Young Female Sportscaster” award for her outstanding work in the world of sports broadcasting. Her dedication and passion for her profession have not gone unnoticed.
