The programme which concerns itself with women’s matters is now back bigger and better as the joint project hit harder on 7 radio stations in the Southwestern part of the country, Nigeria.
The two charming female On-Air-Personalities, Ronke Giwa Onafuwa (RonnyG) of Splash 105.5 FM and Folakemi Arowolo (Folakemighty) of Lagelu 96.7 FM, in the big city of Ibadan are at it again with their joint project, as they continue to co-host Women Matters initiative programme on 7 radio stations.
The initiative proudly sponsored by Three Crown Milk will now be aired on Thursday at Splash 105.5 FM, Ibadan, 10:30am: Sobi 101.9 FM, Ilorin, 10am: Voices 96.7 FM, Ado Ekiti, 10am: Adaba 88.9 FM, Akure, 11am: Rock city 101.9 FM, Abeokuta, 11am: Paramount 94.5 FM, Abeokuta, 11:30am: while on Friday, 10:30am on Lagelu 96.7 FM, Ibadan.
Subsequently, the radio programme will be in both English and Yoruba language. Also, the joint project is intended to retrace and restructure the right of women in the society. According to them, the radio programme, “Oro Obinrin” is not limited to the females in the society alone, but a show that concerns everyone in the society.
Ronke Giwa Onafuwa, the popular “RonnyG” is such an English goddess on Ibadan Radio, a spec for radio stations and fans; on the other hand, Folakemi Arowolo, fondly called “Folakemighty” is a renowned pidgin/Yoruba broadcaster with a touch of excellence on Ibadan radio.
