Olubadan commends Splash/Lagelu FM for Preserving Yoruba Heritage

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun Ali Okunmade the 2nd has commended Splash105.5fm and Lagelu 96.7fm for being a proactive ambassador of the Yoruba culture.

Oba Lekan Balogun gave this commendation today while receiving senior executives of West Midlands communication limited, who paid him a courtesy visit at his palace located at the Iwo road area of the state capital.

His imperial majesty who confirmed that Splash and Lagelu FM has distinguished itself as outstanding radio stations with culturally rich programmes in Ibadan, Oyo state and the country at large, charged the management of the media house to maintain the good works, adding that the Olubadan remains a proud lover of the station.

General Manager Operations for Splash and Lagelu FM Ibadan , Mr Tunde Olawuwo in his goodwill message congratulated the newly installed A class monarch on the ascension of his ancestors throne praying that God will make his era a good one for all Ibadan indigenes and every one resident in the city and outside.

Mr. Olawuwo promised his imperial majesty that the radio stations, subsidiaries of West Midlands communication limited will continue to do all in its capacity to propagate the rich values of the Yoruba culture in its programming.
