On-Air Ambassador with Royal Roots 92.9 FM Ibadan, Igho Loveth has again organized “Pad a Girl Child Campaign 2.0” giving out 800 hundred sanitary pads in commemoration of World International Women’s Day.
This initiative, the second edition took place at The Girls of Our Lady of Apostles, Junior Secondary School, Odo ona, Apata, Ibadan on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
According to the initiator, Igho Loveth, “The girls of Our lady of apostle, Odo ona Apata Ibadan, myself and the Team we say Thank you so much.Time after time,we have heard stories of women in uncomfortable situations as a result of Menstrual cycle and their hygiene.
“Moreover, listening to stories of some women’s who did not get access to sanitary pads during their teenage years or the ones who could not afford good ones other than using tissue, clothes or even paper.
“On this Iwd 2023, we choose to pad girls, as we spent the morning sensitizing and giving out free sanitary pads to 800 girls in our lady of Apostles girls junior secondary school Odo-Ona Apata, Ibadan, Nigeria.” She added.
In her words of appreciation, “This post is to specially appreciate everyone who volunteered, donate pads and money for this year Pad a girl child campaign 2.0. May God almighty bless your pocket abundantly.”
