In an unfortunate turn of events, Mr. Aanuoluwapo Omorinde, the Head of Operations at IBR 92.5 FM in Ibadan, experienced a car theft right in front of the radio station’s office.
Mr. Omorinde, who drives a Toyota Corolla, fell victim to the theft as he parked outside the office due to ongoing road rehabilitation by the state government. The entire staff had to park their vehicles on the roadside temporarily.
The incident occurred after Mr. Omorinde concluded his on-air duties. When he went to retrieve his car for a quick breakfast, he was shocked to find it missing. The theft has left the radio personality and the IBR 92.5 FM community in disbelief.
“My car- a Toyota Corolla brand was stolen right in front of my Office while on air this morning
“The state govt is rehabilitating the road in front of my Office hence, we all pack outside
“I resumed for duty as usual this morning and parked. When I finished the programme, I wanted to pick my breakfast from the car only to discover that my car has been stolen
Local authorities have been alerted, and an investigation is underway to recover the stolen vehicle.
Primus Media expresses solidarity with Mr. Omorinde during this challenging time as we are hopeful for a swift resolution to the case.
