Feranmi Babalola, better known as “Feranminga Babalolanga” of Broadcasting Coperation of Oyo State (BCOS) on Friday, October 1, celebrated his 60th birthday aniversary and retirement from service with an open lecture.
The lecture was tagged “Nigeria at 61: The Role of the Media in Securing Her Unity” as the Birthday and Retirement Party of the ace broadcaster held at NUJ Hall, BCOS, Oríta Basorun Ìbàdàn. The lecture was delivered by Yemi Sonde, Group Managing Director of Yemi Sonde Media Group.
The event was organized by Feranminga Babalolanga Media Giant. Also, Yemi Sonde in her lecture, heartily congratulate Mr Feranmi Babalola and wish him well in all his future endeavors.
In attendance were Politicians, Business Tycoons and Media Practitioners amongst whom we have Honourable Yusuf Oladayo Àgbà Ẹgbẹ, Chairman Ìbàdàn North Local Government, Honourable Emmanuel Alawode of Ìbàdàn SouthEast Local Government, Honourable Dada Awoleye former Member, Federal House of Representatives, Mr Ademola Aremu Pápá Demmy and a host of others while the Chairman of the event was Alhaji ODS.
Feranmi Babalola is one of the ace entertainers on Ibadan radio. He’s popularly known for his “O Naughtica’ show on Oluyole 98.5 FM. His versality on air is second to none in the industry with a distinct style of presentation.
