Radio fans in Ibadan city fuels competition between Agidigbo’s Soul of Radio and Fresh FM’s Dandy after a tight up programmes, scheduled for same days, time and same programme philosophy, centered on relationship matters and mediation.
A die hard fan of Agidigbo 88.7 FM, Olanrewaju TemiTope Adedapo has taken to his social media handle to drawn a tough competition line between the two OAPs, Adedotun Amosun and David Egwim, who now anchors “Confession Time” on same days but different radio platforms. “Between Confession Time with Soul of Agidigbo 88.7 FM Ibadan and Confession Time with Dandy of Fresh 105.9 FM Ibadan, the competition will be very tough tomorrow. We shall know the senior.” Olanrewaju said.
Meanwhile, on the same post, Dandy of Fresh FM, who is one of the concerned parties has cautioned fans using the comment box of the social platform. He advised people not to pitch un-neccesary competition but rather preach love among radio presenters.
According to Dandy, “Please let’s try all we can not to pitch unnecessary competition…The synopsis of the programme in the first instance is to preach love. So listen to any station of your choice, or shuffle if you so wish. Enjoy the show(s), learn from people’s doings/mistakes on the programme and most importantly get entertained. The sky is really large for every bird to fly. #LoveAndLight ✌
Agidigbo FM and Fresh FM are in loggerhead on the airwaves once it is Thursday and Sunday with same philosophy of programme in the city of Ibadan.
