Associate Member of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria APCON on Friday, August 20 inducted one of the ace broadcasters in the Southwest part of Nigeria, Yemi Sonde as an associate member of the council.

Yemi Sonde Jigan Akala who has been in the Broadcasting Industry for over 30 years is a graduate of University of Ibadan where he had his B.Sc in Forest Resources Management, he furthered by bagging Masters in Communication and Language Arts (MCLA) also with Masters in Project Development and Implementation (MPDI) respectively, he is a graduate of National Broadcast Academy.
Yemi Sonde is the regular anchor of “YS Live” on Splash 105.5 FM. He’s a Mediapreneur and advertiser of note.
He has handled media campaign jobs for Corporate Organizations in and outside Nigeria such as Central Bank of Nigeria, First Bank, MTN Nigeria, Learn Africa Nigeria PLC formerly Longman PLC, Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals PLC, Bond Chemical, Medheights PLC, Katawa Group, Chemstar Paints Plc and many others with these great achievements in the media world he did not rest on his hoarse hence the need to get certified with APCON.
