One of the radio giants in the brown-roof city of Ibadan, Oyo state, Ajibola Akinyefa fondly known as the ‘Jagaban of Radio’ officially commenced his media academy in the city.
The academy named Ajibola Akinyefa Media City situated at Trans Amusement Park, Bodija, Ibadan has been described according to him as a media academy with the primary aim of training interested individuals to achieve their dreams of becoming certified Television and Radio presenters.
The academy therefore concerned itself with practical training and mentorship of young media minds.Primus Media City gathered via his social media account that the academy registration form is out for sales at the rate of N10,000 only, while the training exercise will last for 10 weeks.
Akinyefa is a renowned Newscaster/Broadcast Journalist, currently the Deputy Head of Programmes and Head of Yoruba Department at the newly established Oriyomi’s Agidigbo 88.7 FM Ibadan. He has consistently proven himself over time to be a force to be reckoned with in the city and beyond.
