After 11years, Opaebiti bows out of Royal FM Ilorin

One of the reputable Yoruba radio anchors in Ilorin, Olanrewaju Ogunniyi better known as “Opaebiti” as bowed out of Royal 95.1 FM after 11years of strong working relationship.

This was made clear in a statement made available to the general public on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Opaebiti as fondly called who specially appreciate his fans and family promises to be back on radio soon.

According to his statement, “This is to officially inform all my fans in Nigeria & in diaspora that I have parted ways with African Broadband Limited the owner of Royalfm 95.1 Ilorin.

“Having spent eleven years with the station & working tirelessly to register the brand among leading radio station in the entire Kwara state & it’s neighboring states, I have decided to move forward to a new ground where my talents will be exhibited for greatness.

“To all my fans all over the world, I seek your beloved understanding on this fundamental but necessary decision, & I promise you all that I will be back on air in no time to give you the best of all what you know me for – entertainment programs, research programs, educative programs, love programs, bigwig interviews & a whole lots of what makes you love OPAEBITI.

“I specifically appreciate you all for your love & supports all these years of my journey in the broadcasting industry & I still look forward to more of it in years to come.

Olanrewaju Ogunniyi popularly known as (Opaebiti) has been a radio presenter for over a decade. He formerly worked with Radio kwara, Midland FM, and Harmony FM. He is a yoruba radio presenter, a musician. The multitalented broadcaster is also a poet, writer and newscaster.
