NCDMB Advocates Media Partnership to Uphold Nigeria’s Local Content Achievements

The Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has urged the media to support the continuity of the board’s achievements in local content.

During a workshop in Lagos, Esueme Dan Kikile, NCDMB’s Manager of Corporate Communication, emphasized the media’s crucial role in sustaining these accomplishments amid the board’s ongoing transition.

Highlighting collaboration with stakeholders, including the media, Olubisi Okunola, NCDMB’s Manager of Strategy, stressed the importance of such partnerships.

Discussions at the event also covered media competence in the evolving landscape, with Azu Ishiekwene advising journalists to stay updated through research and networking.

Veteran journalist Goddy Ikeh emphasized the need for journalists to uphold essential etiquette and ethics, including editorial independence, brevity, and professionalism.
