During the 2023 Men’s Convention of the Christ Apostolic Church, Gbaremu Centre, The Valours, located in Imalefalafia, Ibadan, Oyo State, the men’s fellowship extended accolades to Mr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State governor, Mr. Michael Kolade, an entrepreneur, and Pastor Claudius Olaiya, the presiding pastor of the church.
In addition to these honorees, Mr. Oluwatoyin Apooyin was recognized as the patron of the men’s fellowship. Mrs. Olubunmi Fijabi’s contributions as a Respectful Leader and a Gospel Promoter were acknowledged, while the title of Best Couple was bestowed upon Mr. and Mrs. Abiodun Ademola.
The concluding event of the three-day convention featured a lecture by Mr. Olanrewaju titled “Mandate to Flourish as a Man in Godly Marriage, Careers/Professions.”
Olanrewaju emphasized the importance of prioritizing God in all endeavors, formulating solid plans, and maintaining discipline to achieve life’s mandates.
Addressing the audience, Mr. Kolade shared insights on “Mandates to be Outstanding Beyond Barriers and Unfriendly Situations in Nigeria.” He encouraged Christians to engage in prayer, exhibit confidence in overcoming challenges, and continue to dedicate themselves to God, even during challenging times.”
