One of the delectable and unique female radio presenters on Ibadan radio, Ronke Giwa Onafuwa, currently with Splash 105.5 FM has addressed rumor circulating that she is in a covenant with her current place of work.
Primus Media City gathered the report via a post on her social media handle. Ronnie G, as fondly called asserted that she have heard such saying countless times from someone in the industry. “Someone in the industry keeps spreading the rumor that I have a covenant with my present place of work. I have heard it countless times.
She said, “Truth is if you approach an individual without an offer and all you can say is “We know you’ll never leave XYZ…” I already know you are unserious.
She further added that “Getting poached sounds fancy but many have jumped ship and found themselves in a well because they were promised XYZ which was then cut after they resumed. Or they found themselves in a toxic environment…Anybody can move… for the right price + right environment so stop with the nonsense. Whistling and walking away.”
Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, is an award winning, multi talented media personality in the city. Ronke’s versatility has seen her work as a radio presenter, voice over artiste and also an event compere. Ronke has been on radio for over ten years and she has obviously carved a niche for herself in the ever competitive broadcast industry.
