After careful consideration and selection from 14,000 nominated candidates, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has released the list of the 100 Most Influential Young Persons in Oyo State in celebration of the #InternationalYouthDay2022 today, Friday, 12th of August, 2022.
The Oyo State Youth Awards powered by the Oyo state Ministry of Youth and Sports, identifies and celebrate 100 youths in Oyo state between the ages 18-40 who have shown excellence in their chosen field of works and are contributing towards state/national development. The theme for the 2021 youth awards is “Stronger Together – Celebrating Youth Resilience.
While the voting ends 19th August, 2022 by 12am, some of the popular radio presenters and news Men in the city made the 100 Most Influential Young Persons final ranking under the On-Air Personality Category and New Media Category.
Rolake Bello of Fresh FM, Kenny Ogunmiloro of Fresh FM, Marian Delekpe (Mimi-Special) of Inspiration FM, Blessings Fowowe of Splash FM, Oluwatoyin Salau (Yellow Sisi) of 32FM, Adesola Balikis Aderonke (Olori Sports) of Splash FM made the On-Air Personality Category.
Also, Pamilerin Adegoke, Abiola Olaore, Bhadmus Habdulakeem, Sikiru Akinola, Segun Kehinde, and Gbenga Oyetola made the News Men Category shortlist.
