Fast rising media Organization in Ibadan, Primus Media City is set to honor Veteran Broadcaster, Chief Yanju Adegbite of Fresh 105.9 FM in the Legend category, Otunba Kola Ladoke of Splash 105.5 FM in Icon category and Oluwdamilola Oni of Rare Edge TV in the shining star category at the 2021 March edition of Primus Media Nite.
The event which has been on hold for a while as a result of COVID-19 pandemic is now fully back, bigger and better to bring together media practitioners from various media houses, across all sectors and generations. The media nite is also for diehard media fans in the city to fellowship together, know each other and grow together with the aim of expanding the frontiers of the media industry in the brown roof city of Ibadan.
The March edition of Media Nite will feature live interactive session with honorees, questions and answers, photo sessions, networking and all shades of fun. It is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 27th March, 2021 with the red carpet by 5pm and main event by 6pm at Race Course Amphitheater, Adamasingba Stadium, Opposite Recreation Club, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Chief Yanju Adegbite, one of the veteran broadcasters who love to be addressed as Uncle Yanju is the first On-Air Personality on Radio O-Y-O 2 FM stereo (1972), first On-Air Personality on the Television service of Oyo State (TSOS) – 1982 but currently the anchor of Freshly Pressed on Fresh FM, Ibadan. Also, Otunba Kola Ladoke is the regular anchor of Yoruba Newspaper review, ‘Tifun-Tedo’ on Splash FM, Ibadan and the Head of Programmes on Lagelu FM, Ibadan (twin sister of Splash FM). In the shinning star category, is the bold and beautiful Damilola Oni, a Nollywood actress and the regular anchor of Aajirebi, a Rare Edge TV production on African Magic Yoruba channel on Dstv.
