MD/CEO of Pensioners’ 106.7 FM, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, has congratulated the station on its latest award by United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF.
Comrade Abatan made the congratulatory statement in an interview with Pensioners’ FM during the presentation of the award titled ‘‘Childhood Immunization Champion” to him by the station’s General Manager, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu, in his office at Agbarigo, Onireke Ibadan.
According to Comrade Abatan, it is laudable that Pensioners’ 106.7 FM which is clocking 5 years on Friday, 27th of this month is getting the recognition it deserves.
Comrade Abatan who is also the Secretary Nigeria Union of Pensioners’, NUP, Oyo State Council, noted that he is optimistic that when Pensioners’ 106.7 FM clocks 10 years old, it would be one of the topmost stations in Oyo state and the whole of southwest zone.
According to UNICEF, the award symbolizes the station’s unwavering dedication to promoting childhood immunizations among children, families and communities.
