A passionate fan, Paul Daniel has cautioned Ajibola Akinyefa’s former colleagues against mocking him following his resignation as General Manager of Ilaji FM.
The fan, in his reaction, expressed disappointment in the manner Akinyefa’s close associates at his previous radio station subtly made jest of his situation during broadcast.
“I’m not just cool with how his close colleagues mock him stylishly on air.
“To me, it shows there was no love. I believe another one will still happen tomorrow morning. When you love someone, even if you warn them and they make their decision, you shouldn’t mock them.
“Who knows what the future holds? This is not the end of his career—he might be getting another good and balanced offer. Let love lead.”
Akinyefa, who assumed office as General Manager of Ilaji FM only a few weeks ago, shocked many when he tendered his resignation letter yesterday. Fans and well-wishers have urged for empathy and support rather than mockery.
