Impact Business Radio (IBR 92.5 FM), Ibadan has been named the Best Radio Station in the South-West region at the prestigious Nigeria Media Nite-Out Awards 2024.
The ceremony, held in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Sunday, brought together dignitaries from diverse sectors, including top business executives, media proprietors, and renowned broadcasters.
The Chief Executive Officer of Metropolitan Broadcasting Services, owners of IBR and Impact Television, Deacon Owolabi Oladejo, was also recognized as the Best CEO. In his acceptance speech, Deacon Oladejo described the dual awards as a testament to IBR’s significant influence in Nigeria’s media space. He attributed the station’s success to the unwavering creativity, dedication, and hard work of its staff.
Aanuoluwapo Omorinde, Head of Operations at IBR, shared insights into the recognition, saying that the organizers had monitored the station’s content and delivery over time before arriving at their decision. Omorinde emphasized that the award, which was highly competitive, underscores IBR’s consistent excellence and originality.
