Ibadan Elite Broadcasters, a body of a few carefully selected Broadcasters practicing in the ancient city of Ibadan had its first Dinner in Sunday 11th February at City Palace Event Center, Ologuneru Ibadan.
At the event, the association unveiled and presented to the general public their proposed projects for the year 2024. The presented projects include; Monthly Food Bank, Paradise Home for the Displaced, Scholarship for 100 exceptionally brilliant but indigent Students, Grooming 20 Young CEOs, Inter secondary school debate competition, Agro for all, Youth Symposium on the role of the media in Democratic Governance, Ranadan Iftar with the Homeless and Destitutes, Communication and Elocution Training among others. They also seized the opportunity to call for support from all well meaning stakeholders on their lofty projects aimed at empowering and uplifting members of the society.
The Dinner which also served as the inauguration of the Association was well attended by dignitaries from all work of life, including, Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, Oyo State Commissioner for Environment Hon. Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, Representatives of the Chief Judge of Oyo State, The Acting Publicity Secretary and Youth Leader of PDP in Oyo State, Hon. Michael Ogunsina, Veteran Broadcaster Baba Tunbosun Oladapo, Iconic Broadcaster, Ademola Aremu Papa Demmy, General Manager of Splash FM, Tunde Olawuwo, General Manager of Success FM, Adeshina Jagunmade Paj 1, General Manager of i-Fliers FM, Adejare Amuda, General Manager of Adamimogo FM, Ibadan, Joshua Adegbite among other dignitaries.
