Crest 87.7FM Akure in their effort to provide quality reach to the society has successfully migrated to 106.1FM dial. This migration was as a result of the approval of the National Broadcasting Commission(NBC).
According to a press statement released on Sunday, 25 December, 2021 and signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Adeolu Gboyega, “As part of our deliberate efforts to further provide quality broadcasting to our ever loyal listener, the National Broadcasting Commission(NBC) has approved the migration of your darling station, Crest 87.7fm to 106.1 frequency dial effective January 1st, 2022.
“This is to totally address the several identified technical issues surrounding auto tuning, clarity of sound in certain car stereo and transistor radio models.
“We are rest assured that our friends and fans will join us in this new journey of rebranding as we further take the lead as the fastest rising radio station in the sunshine state.
“Furthermore, the year 2022 by the special grace of God will open several other vistas in our deliberate plan to ensure that broadcasting is totally redefined in Ondo State.
“One after the other, several other laudable ideas and projects on our stable will be unveiled in our quest to serve you better.
“Jan 1st 2022 will mark a new dawn for the Crest fm brand on the 106.1 frequency.
“The immense love, support, advice from our friends and fans are highly appreciated as we continue on this next phase.
