The highly anticipated Yes FM 10:17 Festival is set to begin in a few hours, promising a week-long celebration of culture and community. This unique event, brainchild of Yes FM Ibadan, aims to promote local culture, impact lives, and create a lasting memory for the community.
The festival, themed “10:17,” will feature a series of exciting activities, including outside broadcasts, road shows, and a grand finale event. The highlight of the festival will be the main event on Thursday, October 17th, at Mauve 21, Ring Road, Ibadan.
According to Mr. Yemi Sonde, the GMD & CEO of Yes FM Ibadan, “The 10:17 Festival is more than just an event; it’s a platform to celebrate our culture, empower our community, and make a positive impact.”
The festival will offer opportunities for people to appreciate their cultural heritage, win exciting prizes, and enjoy live music performances from top artists.
Some of the featured artists include Alhaji Musiliu Haruna Ishola, Alhaji Taye Adebisi Currency, Chief Ajobiewe Aremu, and many more. The event will also feature horse riding, chants, acrobatic dance, fashion shows, comedy, and other cultural activities.
The festival’s pre-event activities include outside broadcasts at various locations in Ibadan, a road show, and a special Goldberg Lori Gangan and Ko Gbodo Kanle event.
Tickets for the main event are available for N2,000 and offer a chance to win N1,000,000 and other prizes.
