Remarkably, in 2022, 101.7 Yes FM Ibadan arrived on the media scene, ushering in a new era of innovation, disrupting conservative ideas, and exploring a world of new possibilities in broadcasting.
Today, the media house announced the celebration of her 2nd anniversary, coming up on March 7th of this year.
“We have lined up a series of events to look back and reflect on our expansion over the years,” said Yes FM’s COO, Kayode Joseph, in an exclusive chat. “This is important to us, our community, and the broadcast legacy. We will continue to explore new methods while upholding the standard in media practice.”
Yes FM has enjoyed landmark recognition in reference to its contribution to media development. It is a testament to the station’s growth and stability amid the ever-changing media ecosystem.
According to Yes FM’s HR, Chinasa Egelemba, she said, “We have been able to build a culture of trust with our clients. So, when we serve them, they bring another. That is growth for us.”
In a conversation with Yemi Sonde, the CEO of Yes FM, he acknowledged that, “From inception, our vision is to inspire change and break new grounds. Amid our several contributions, We have mentored numerous industry newcomers, amplified important conversations while leveraging social media for responsible journalism. Our journey is not a sprint, it is a marathon. This second anniversary is a call to do more.”
From this week on, the station will officially roll out major activities geared towards the celebration of the 2nd year anniversary.
