Olawale Hamzat: Nigerians Unite Against Racism in Sports with Peaceful Protest


In display of unity and a firm stance against racism, Olawale Hamzat, a prominent Sports Presenter with Lagelu FM and Splash FM Ibadan, has initiated a peaceful protest scheduled for Monday, October 2, 2023, at 8 a.m. The gathering will commence at the Splash FM Building in Felele, Ibadan.

The protest, themed “Say No to Racism,” aims to shed light on the challenges faced by Nigerian athletes and sports professionals in the international arena. It comes in the wake of numerous incidents of racial discrimination against athletes of African descent, highlighting the urgent need for change in the global sporting community.
