8 Ways to quickly “blow” as an Indigenous On-Air Personality:

1. Secure a top-rated radio station: Get a spot on a radio station that ranks among the top 5 in the MPS rating even if you have to buy airtime. This will give you a wider audience and increase your visibility.

2. Master the art of storytelling using a human story angle: Develop the skill of telling engaging stories, even if they’re not entirely true This will help you connect with your listeners and keep them entertained.

3. Host massive giveaways: Find sponsors or use your funds to organize large-scale giveaways. This will generate buzz and attract new listeners to your show.

4. Leverage social media: Use social media platforms to increase your show’s visibility. Consider hiring a social media manager who is skilled in content creation to help you manage your online presence.

5. Create a strong personal brand: Dress well, attend high-profile events, get someone to help you with paparazzi, and share on social media to give your fans a glimpse into your life outside the studio.

6. Maintain a good character: Be respectful, humble, and kind to your listeners and colleagues. A good reputation will help you build a loyal fan base and attract new opportunities.
