SPLASH FM REACHES OUT TO ORPHANAGES WITH FOOD ITEMS
In commemoration of the 15th year anniversary of Splash 105.5 FM and the 83rd Birthday of the founder of West-Midlands Communications, High Chief Adebayo Akande, the Ekarun Olubadan of Ibadan land, the management of Splash FM has paid a visit to two orphanage homes in Ibadan.
While speaking to newsmen during the visit, the General Manager Operations, Mr. Tunde Olawuwo accentuated that the management of the station in her usual acts of corporate social responsibility decided to donate gifts and food stuffs to the orphanage as a form of giving back to the society, and identifying with the less-privileged.
The Managers of the visited orphanage homes appreciated the kind gesture of the management of Splash FM and Lagelu FM and also commend them for their contribution to the media space in Oyo State.
The Visitation to the orphanage home is the first of many events scheduled to mark the anniversary, as other events includes a novelty match on Wednesday 6th of July and a public lecture on Friday 8th of July.
Splash 105.5 FM Ibadan is the first independent radio station in the city of Ibadan. The station’s main objective is to bridge the missing link between the existing station and the populace in Ibadan by fulfilling the major responsibilities of broadcasting, entertainment and public enlightenment.
