On Friday, 4th of December, the General Manager, Operation of Splash 105.5/Lagelu 96.7 FM stations emerged the 2020 Best Media Manager of the year.
The award was presented by Mr. Ademola Babalola, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council during the Press week 2020 at Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, Oyo state.
A post on the Official Facebook page of Splash 105.5 FM hinted Primus Media City of the numerous award the General manager has bagged in couple of days, “…GM is cupping awards back to back! NUJ Media Manager Of The Year Award presented to our GM Operations, Mr. Tunde Olawuwo @tundeolawuwo. Courtesy, NUJ, Oyo Chapter…”
Mr. Tunde has been a vibrant Sport Journalist over the years in the state, consistent and determined in the Radio industry which however has paid him with the position of the General Manager, Operation of West-Miland Communication, making him one of the young General Managers of a Radio station.
He is the regular anchor of Sport Bang and World sport on Splash 105.5 FM, Ibadan and also the News Editor of both stations.
Primus Media City therefore wishes the General Manager and his team more success in the industry.
