Sunday Alakinde, FIBAN National Secretary, is dead

The National Secretary of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, FIBAN, Comr. Sunday Alakinde, who is a Radio presenter and Newscaster at Unique 103.1FM, Ilesa, Osun state, is dead.

Primus Media City gathered that Sunday Alakinde, died in the early hours of today in a fatal accident around 3am, along Ilesha/Akure expressway.

According to the FIBAN Chairman, Osun state chapter, Comr. Adekunle Abolade Dodoede who revealed to the general public on Monday morning.

“Yes. Sunday Alakinde is gone. He had an accident around 3am today(Monday) at Akure Expressway while coming from Ijebu Ijesha where he had Concert. He was coming down to Ilesa because he had a program this morning (Newspaper Review). He wanted to cross down at Akure expressway, so a luxurious bus hit him.”  He said.

Primus Media City mourn the exit of a great media icon, Comr. Sunday Alakinde. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
