The people’s secretariat radio station in Ibadan, Space 90.1 FM now switched from terrestial radio to internet radio operation as announced on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
In a video clip monitored by Primus Media City on the social media handle of the radio station which hinted that the decision to switch to internet radio was as a result of the rainstorm that happened on Saturday evening.
According to them, the rainstorm affected their masts and caused the temporary break in transmission. “We’re sorry for the break in terrestrial radio transmission. While we work earnestly to restore our masts and bring you your favorite programs. Kindly listen to us on our online radio.
Moreso, it could be recalled that Space 90.1 FM, under the umbrella of Space Network recently completed their ugrade process to transmitting via renewable energy (solar) which makes the radio platform as the first to do so in Oyo state.
Space 90.1 FM with the motto, “setting new standard in broadcasting” is a private owned radio station in Ibadan and the 1st trilingual media house in Nigeria.
Primus Media City wishes the station quick return to their normals.
