Shocking Move: Agidigbo 88.7 FM welcomes Ajibola Akinyefa as Deputy Head of Programmes

The ace Lagelu 96.7 FM newscaster/broadcast journalist, Ajibola Akinyefa well known as the ‘Jagaban of Radio’ has been officially unveiled and warmly welcome into Agidigbo 88.7 FM Ibadan family owned by Oriyomi Hamzat.

Primus Media City gathered via the Official Facebook page of the new Radio station that Akinyefa was unveiled today, 13th of February, marks ‘World Radio Day’ into the station as the Deputy Head of Programmes and Head of Yoruba department while awaiting the official commencement of the radio station in no time.

The post reads; “In commemoration of #WorldRadioDay2021, we introduce to you the latest addition to our team at Agidigbo 88.7 FM. He’s also the Deputy Head of Programmes and Head of Yoruba Presentation unit at our radio station.

“He’s that enigmatic broadcast journalist who has proven himself over time to be a force to be reckoned with in this city and beyond. He has a track record of excellence as a broadcaster on several radio stations including Gold FM where he worked between 2005 – 2007, then Premier FM between 2007 – 2008, then Splash FM between 2008 – 2016 and then Lagelu FM, from 2016 till the past few days.

“This is the record that has won him numerous laurels including the recent Newscaster of the Year 2020 at the PERA Awards. It is the same track record that has convinced us to have impeccable trust in his abilities.
