Ramadan Lecture: We Are Doing It Differently – I-Flier FM Management


As one of the notable urban radio stations in Education and Entertainment in the city of Ibadan, capital of Oyo state, I-Flier 103.3FM is set to organize the maiden edition of her Ramadan lecture.

Speaking on behalf of the management, the Head of Programmes and Presentations who also doubled as the Chairman, Ramadan Planning Committee, Prince Adejare Amuda said the station is ready to set out new dimensions of Ramadan lecture which will focus on education, family and lucrative side of entertainment as agents of nation building.

Adéjàre Àmùdà stated this during his recent visit to Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu GM Pensioners FM Ìbàdàn as part of tour to invite notable members and dignitaries to the maiden Ramadan lecture.

According to him, “We are a thematic radio station with clear mandate to air content of diverse information but with focus on making educational and entertaining programs a priority, so this maiden edition of our Ramadan lecture will focus on how we can use home, religion and education as agent of socialization to correct abnormalities among us and sustain our dear nation…

“…this is why we carefully chose a great scholar with deep understanding of religion and education, Alhaji Engineer Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke Grand Imam of Shafaudeen Li-Islam to do justice to the topic ” Problems Militating Against Nation Building: The Islamic Perspective.”

“So we are glad to have confirmation of Maye Olubadan of Ìbàdàn High Chief Olalekan Alabi as Father of Day, and Chief Mrs Iswat Ameringun Iyaloja Ile Ìbàdàn as Mother of the Day, Baba Adinni Ajoorosun LCDA, Amirah Fomwan Oyo State and others while the Chief Executive Officer of our dear station will be the Chief Host, we are inviting you all to come around let’s build our nation.” He added.

He also seized the opportunity to invite members of the public to the programme which has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 8 at I-Flier open space I-Flier College Ogungbade Area Egbeda Local Government, Ìbàdàn by 11am.
