The honored and much celebrated Radio Icon at the March Edition of Primus’ Media Nite, Dr. Adebayo Faleke of Fresh FM, Ibadan has charged all media practitioners to embrace unity, synergy and collaboration so as to form a formidable team in the city. The event took place on Saturday, 26, March at Mauve 21 Lounge, Ring Road, Ibadan, capital of Oyo state.
Dr. Adebayo in an interview with Primus Media City sent a message worthy of note on why it is necessary for all media practitioners to embrace unity and collaboration so as to push the Ibadan media industry forward. “Basically, I want to send a message of unity, message of collaboration to all the media practitioners in Ibadan. It is high time we started coming together to form a formidable team, to arrive at a common ground…
He also noted that “synergy is the genuine keyword at this point… message of love, unity irrespective of the platform…your radio station, your television station. Now, what matters is unity, collaboration, understanding, synergy and arriving at a common ground.”
Furthermore, he expressed his overwhelming joy to all media practitioners for coming out to rejoice with him and Primus Media team for deeming him fit to be celebrated in this great manner. “Yes am so happy I feel excited and I give glory to God Almighty for giving me this kind of opportunity to be celebrated in this manner. It is a great thing to see a day like this let me refer to this day that the Lord has made because everybody came around to rejoice with me and I feel so honored I pray that God should bless the CEO the MD of Primus Media for deeming it fit to put together something of this nature to celebrate stake holders in the media industry.
He also applauded and described the CEO of Primus Media City, Afouda Samuel Baba Agbalagba well known as “god on radio” as one of the finest broadcasters in the city. “Afouda Baba Agbalagba, as one of us, as one of the finest broadcasters we have around Ibadan Oyo state, Nigeria at large represent a Unifier; unifying factor, for media industry in Ibadan.
“It’s been long Afouda has been putting everything together to ensure that we come together as stakeholders in the industry to make things happen than what we use to have in the past and I pray that God will continue to strengthen Primus Media, the Lord will continue to enlarge your coast in the mighty name of Jesus. I feel so honored, I am so happy thank you so much.” He said.
