Preparation in Top Gear, as Mr. Rain get set for “Oluronbi The Musical”

Preparation in top gear as one of the creative pidgin OAPs, Ojobaro Babatunde, better known as “Mr. Rain” and the founder of Theatre Hub Africa (THA) is getting set to unveil the stage play of “Oluronbi The Musical”, starting from Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The writer and director of the stage play, Mr. Rain, has disclosed that the much anticipated stage play is set to bring forth creativity and ingenuity as never seen before in four cities in the South-West part of Nigeria.

“Oluronbi happened to be one of the stories I was told and the summary is a woman who got a child from the spirit world and promised to return the child but eventually didn’t want to. Oluronbi is a myth, it didn’t happen and from the different versions, the concept was behind just one.” He said.

Ojobaro Babatunde is one of the creative hands that makes radio listeners fall in love with Ibadan radio. Currently, he is an OAP with R2 92.9 FM, Ibadan, Oyo State.
