Abass Ishola well known as “Abassillah or Sport Captain” has officially signed for Naija 102.7 FM as earlier speculated by Primus Media City after he joined his colleagues to tender his resignation letter with Space 90.1 FM some days ago.
The Yoruba Sportscaster/Journalist, Abassllah in an artwork displayed on the social media platform, indicated that his Sports programme on Space FM will now be aired on Naija FM at same time, 6:30-7am, Monday-Saturday.
According to radio lovers, Abassllah Sports’ programme “Egba S’awon” on Naija FM could be described as such a perfect replacement for Obadare Oladosu Obasports who left the station for Pensioners 106.7 FM.
Abassllah is one of the versatile OAPs in the brown-roof city of Ibadan. He is very flexible on radio as a man of many part. Until he left Space FM, he anchored Political/Current Affairs programme, newspaper review, entertainment shows, Sports show, among others.
