The popular OAP on Fresh FM, Nigeria Alhaji Waheed Akintayo well known as “Ilumoka Presenter” has declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship seat of Oluyole local government, Ibadan, Oyo state under the shield of the ruling party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
According to his speech,
“Gentlemen of the Press, Distinguished members of our Party,the People’s Democratic Party from all the wards of Oluyole local Government, representatives of the traditional institutions in Oluyole local government area,artisans, market men and women ,Youths of our Local Government and the general public.
I am your son,Alhaji Waheed Akintayo aka Ilumoka Presenter,a renowned broadcaster who started with Radio NIgeria as a freelance presenter . I presently work with Freshfm Nigeria with stations in Ibadan,Ado Ekiti,and Abeokuta.
I also run a public relations management company among others .
Today,22/02/2021,I have come before you as a member of the ruling party in Oyo state,the PDP to seek your support and endorsement as the Flag bearer of our great party for the post of Executive Chairman of Oluyole local government.
I present myself to you to contest as the democratically elected Chairman of Oluyole local government.
As we are all aware,the local government is the closest to our people and a lot of our societal and developmental problems will be reduced considerably and the lives of our people will be better if we have competent,capable,and high capacity persons with proper exposure ,high intellectual acumen ,empathy for the people and a soul who loves to love his people in charge as the Executive Chairman of the Oluyole local government.
I,your son, Alhaji Waheed Akintayo aka Ilumoka Presenter is that person who will make lives easier to live in Oluyole local government area of our dear Pacesetter Oyo state.
I need your support first as party faithfuls to vote me as the standard flagbearer for PDP in Oluyole local government forthcoming elections and then your massive support in the elections as announced by Oysiec.
As the elected Chairman of Oluyole local government,I will ensure that I work assidously and proactively with the various critical stakeholders to ensure that access to primary healthcare , qualitative education,Youth and Women Empowerment,creative Infrastructural Development, improvement in security of lives and properties, strategic plans to end Poverty using vocational and Entrepreneurial training and Empowerment among other laudable plans are implemented !
As your elected local government Chairman,I promise to be your servant,and be at your Beck and call ,to ensure that you have reasonable access to me as your elected servant leader .
On 4th of March 2021,our great party,the PDP will have the primaries to elect the standard flagbearers who will subsequently be elected as the Executive Chairman in the general elections.
I have come to seek your support as your son,and servant leader.
I promise to utilize all resources at my disposal to work assidously for the improvement of your lives and living conditions of party faithfuls and the general populace .
