Olushina Olabode, the popular “Omo-iya-shina”, is in no doubt one of the fun-filled Yoruba radio presenters that makes listeners stay glued to the radio set whenever he is doing his radio presentations. He’s currently the Head of Marketing and OAP on the newly established Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan, Oyo state.
The Versatile OAP is presently running an online radio and TV, (Ibile9ja radio, TV and Omo Iya Shina Media Outfit), under the umbrella of his Media outfit, WEALTHCOME ENTERTAINMENT & MEDIA LIMITED.
Omo-iya-shina, after his secondary school education in Ibadan, proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye to study Mass Communications. He also went to International Institute Of Journalism Abuja; Ibadan Study Center to study Mass Communication Journalism.
The former Head of Programmes on Thrill FM, and former Head of Yoruba Programmes on Space FM has bagged lots of awards and recognitions as well as nominations in the media industry which includes, Broadcasters Merit Award in 2015, Award of Excellent for Best Investigative Presenter from ROCAHAM, Award of Excellent for Best Entertainment Presenter from SUG, MUCOED, Award of Excellent for Best Event Organiser of the year, to mention few.
