Love and Light: 32FM, Lagelu FM, Splash FM, Agidigbo FM, YES-MA commiserate with Fresh FM

The management of 32FM 94.9, Lagelu 96.7 FM, Splash 105.5 FM, Agidigbo 88.7 FM, and Yemi Sonde Media Group has expressed their shock over the death of the General Manager, Fresh FM, Ado-Ekiti, Mr. David Ajiboye.

In a statement signed on behalf of the management by Tunde Olawuwo, General Manager Operations, the station described the sudden demise of Ajiboye as a painful loss, praying to God to grant the Chairman of the Fresh FM Stations, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, the Ajiboye family and the management of the FM stations the fortitude to bear the loss.

West Midlands Communications, equally prayed for the repose of the soul of the renowned media and entertainment chief, while expressing her condolences to the family he left behind.

“Ajiboye was a good ambassador of the Fresh FM and certainly one its greatest defenders in all seasons. Having paid his dues as an entertainment reporter with the Tribune titles, Ajiboye further became a respected publicist and made a success of advancing Fresh FM’s cause.” Tunde Olawuwo said.

Also, 32fm 94.9 , who had earlier visited the Fresh FM team expressed their great shock of the death of there staff. 32FM described the loss as a huge one to the entire broadcasting industry. “We were saddened to hear of the death of your publicist cum station manager at Fresh FM 106.9 Ekiti, Mr David Ajiboye. This is a huge loss to the Broadcasting Industry.

According to Agidigbo FM, “In this moment of loss, we commiserate with the family and friends of Mr. David Ajiboye who until his death was the General Manager of Fresh FM, Ado-Ekiti. We understand the intensity of grief and the magnitude of the vacuum created by his death and we pray to God to grant the family of Mr. Ajiboye, the Chairman of the Fresh FM brand, Dr. Yinka Ayefele [MON] and by extension, the entire Fresh FM family and the Merry Makers Band the fortitude to bear this great loss” the statement read in part.

Yemi Sonde Media Group in a statement signed by Adedamola Ajiboye, Head of Productions, equally prayed for the repose of the soul of the renowned media and entertainment chief, while expressing her condolences to the family he left behind.

Ajiboye died Sunday evening at an Ibadan hospital after a brief illness which lasted for a few days. He was also a foundation member of the music arm of Yinka Ayefele Limited as the publicist to Yinka Ayefele and his band.
