Ace radio presenter with Fresh FM Nigeria, Waheed Akintayo, well known as “Ilumoka Presenter” has debunked rumor circulating on and off social media that he has left Fresh FM to pursue is political career. Alh. Waheed Akintayo is the PDP Candidate, Oyo State House of Assembly, Oluyole Constituency.
Ilumoka Presenter as fondly called has made it known that he is still an active broadcaster, OAP and journalist with Fresh FM Nigeria. He stated that he only went on leave of absence as requested to enable him focus on his political mandate.
In his words, “Contrary to widespread speculations that I left Fresh fm to pursue my political career, it is pertinent that I come out to debunk such as mere imagination of the speculators.
“I am still very much an active broadcaster, OAP and journalist with Fresh FM Nigeria. I was just granted leave of absence as requested to enable me concentrate on the electioneering process.” He said
“Once our mandate is secured, I will return on air to continue with my craft while also representing the electorates and serving the entire state through the legislative platform as promised.
“Your darling Ilumoka Presenter will be back and better!” He added.
The regular anchor of ‘Lagbo Irawo’ on Fresh FM Nigeria, Waheed Akintayo is currently the candidate representing the Peoples Democratic Party at the 2023 general Elections for Oyo state House of Assembly, Oluyole Constituency
