The popular veteran broadcaster based in Ibadan, Yemi Sonde, better known as “Jigan” has gotten license from Nigeria Broadcasting Commission to operate Yes FM and Yes Television in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Yemi Sonde disclosed this to the public while he featured on YES Chat show with Kayode Joseph on YES MA Radio on Thursday, October 14, 2021 as monitored by Primus Media City.
According to him, he has been on the pursuit for license since 2009 but the waiting is finally over. He explained that the Television has been approved to operate since last year but he only delayed the operation till the approval of the radio license. Finally, God said YES as it came to pass. “O Tí padà mu YES! 100%. To God be the glory.
Furthermore, Yes-ma radio according to him will still be in operation as internet based radio, basically for the YES Media Academy students and upcoming practitioners.
He therefore charged everyone who has been waiting so long for YES FM and YES Television to stay positive as God finally said YES to operate in no time.
